Germany. Despite the initial euphoria and optimism, German unification has brought with it division and unrest. It has led to a resurgence of fascist activity. Black Germans describe the way this new fascism has exposed them to racially motivated attacks and, in some cases, murder. One wall may have come down but, for many black Germans another, more terrifying, one has gone up.
