The last session is over nine frames, and the seedings would dictate that it would be Stephen Hendry pressing home his challenge to continue his bid to become World Champion for the first time. Losing reduces the prize money to f 18,000.

Pete, a Lt Colonel's son, says that at 18 he can see the logic of it all, but when he was sent away at 8, he was unhappy. It's a dilemma Charlie and Lynne are facing in West Germany. They have just sent their children to school in England. Others like Rose and Alan couldn't face separation. They believe that their children's place is at home.
