Weather followed by Into Africa
Narrator Anthony Hopkins Every year, like birds migrating south, a few hundred men take to the air and fly to Africa - in the spirit of the first aviators, for the pleasure of living dangerously. Their job? To seed thunderclouds, spray locusts, dust crops and fly emergency missions from the roughest of strips.
'It must be the last frontier of true flying,' they say, 'real seat-of-the-pants stuff - low, fast, dangerous.' For men like Abercromby-Dick,
Max Lacey and Paddy McKay it's the only way to live. Producer NADIA HAGGAR Series editor TIM SLESSOR

A series of films exploring the way women's lives have changed in the 20th century. Jobs for the Girls
'A woman should stop at home and look after her family. You can't expect her to go out and build a house or go out with machines and dig the road.'
That's the controversial view of 96-year-old Rose Ashton who began work as a domestic servant in 1905. Rose, her daughter, grand-daughter and great grand-daughter help tell the story of women at work from that time to this.
When Rose started work there were few jobs women were allowed to do and married women were not expected to work at all.
Today nearly two-thirds of married women work and there is not much a woman will not turn her hand to. Producer OLIVIA LICHTENSTEIN Series producer

An intimate view from dawn till night of one person's day. Michael Drummond
The homeless male ends up walking the streets. Some beg for pennies or lie, cheat and steal. Some look for work, others for booze or a fix, but all hope. The hope is a simple one - a room of their own.
For Michael Drummond that hope has been a way of existing for years, not just One Day ...

Love and Money
Fans of Love and Money have always been aware of their enormous potential as multi-talented musicians. James Grant has been acclaimed as a songwriter of the first order but the band has not as yet achieved the success which many music critics feel they deserve.
Tonight's concert from Eden Court Theatre, Inverness, confirms the band's ability to deliver an exciting live set, including Hallelujah Man, Jocelyn Square and Up Escalator.
