In 1981 two Frenchmen, Frederic Beauchene and Thierry Caroni , embarked on what was the ultimate challenge - an unassisted crossing of the raging North Atlantic on a specially-built, 26-foot-long twin windsurfer. This fascinating and exciting documentary looks at the two men encountering heartbreak and elation as they make their preparations and then set out from New York to face the elements.
Some would call Frederic and Thierry men of courage; others might call them crazy. Directed by MICHEL TOREND
