Classic courtroom drama based on the Harper Lee novel starring Gregory Peck

While their widowed father defends a black man accused of rape, Jem and Scout are more concerned with the important events and playthings of childhood. However, as prejudice splits their impoverished southern community, the children get caught up in the grown-ups' proceedings. Gregory Peck won an Oscar for his compassionate performance in this classic adaptation of the Pulitzer prize-winning novel.

Peter Adair offers a moving and uplifting account of how 11 men and women, infected with HIV, live with the prospect. His subjects range in age from 17 to 60 and represent a variety of lifestyles, regions, ethnic origins and risk groups. Adair, whose work often examines issues of immediate personal concern, says, "A while ago I tested positive for the HIV virus.... I decided to make a film about it."
