Following last night's
Omnibus on Dylan's latest adventure into film and anticipating his visit to
Britain next month, Arena offers another chance to see Dylan in concert with his touring band Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
Dylan reviews the music of his 25-year career, performing classic songs such as Like a Rolling Stone, Just Like a Woman, It's All Right Ma,
I'm Only Bleeding and Knocking on Heaven's Door with unusual vitality and urgency.
More recent work such as When the Night Comes Calling and I'll Remember You display the skill and remarkable talent that have made Dylan one of a handful of truly great composers and performers in the history of popular music. Director

Amsterdam once possessed one of the largest and richest Jewish cultures anywhere in the world. During the Nazi occupation, most of the synagogues, merchant houses and diamond workshops of the old Jewish Quarter were razed to the ground. Earlier this year, the rebuilding of this district was completed with the opening of the world's largest museum of Jewish history in a restored synagogue.
To mark the Jewish New Year, BBC2 is transmitting the concert which inaugurated ths event. Who Revives the Dead is a large-scale choral meditation on the fate of the Jews during and since the Second World War by the Israeli composer Noam Sheriff.
The performance is preceded by a brief documentary chronicling the rise, destruction and rebirth of Amsterdam's Jewish Quarter.
