As part of the celebrations for the 40th anniversary of the Institute of Contemporary Arts, the BBC is repeating three films about visually arresting artists who have made their name with exhibitions at the ICA. The Boyle Family recreate on glass-fibre, random square metres of the earth. A film about Patrick Hughes explores his obsession with visual puns such as rainbows hung on washing lines. Artist Christo has devoted his life to wrapping up large objects which range from Australian beaches to his still unfinished project of wrapping up the Reichstag building in Berlin. Producers

Lakeland Hotel
The problem with watching the world's fastest rock show is that you can't even pop out to put the kettle on without missing miles of music and mirth. And there are even cases on record of people missing a whole programme because they didn't realise it was on until the day after. So in the No Limits 'Happy
Hour' tonight, Tony Baker and Jenny Powell serve up the usual selection of rock cocktails with the added incentive of highlights from the first eight shows of the series. But this heady brew won't get in the way of a sober look at this week's
British and American charts, hot off the press.

Energy for Life?
Marie Macdonald has a new electricity meter. She ought to be very pleased with it - it works on a card instead of 50p pieces, so it won't get broken into as her old one was - twice. But Marie is in debt to the electricity board. The meter knows this, so it won't give her any power for cooking, heating or lighting until she's repaid her week's debt - at a rate she says she cannot afford.
As winter approaches Michael Robinson investigates the power behind the new debt collecting techology, and the struggle to keep the meter fed. Research

The second in an anthology of documentaries for the nation's bicentennial.
Australia Will Be There Written and presented by historian
Patsy Adam-Smith
'Fini retreat madame, beaucoup Australians ici.' So said a digger in 1916. 'Yes,' says Patsy Adam-Smith , 'we were unsophisticated, brash and cheeky. But in those years of the First World War and afterwards, through the Depression, we grew to become a nation.'
The Second World War changed almost everything - not least Australia's' relationships with Old England. True, not all the ties have gone - there's too much history for that. But, ever since the fall of Singapore, America has become the friend and ally who really matters.
