A series for those who love the sea and sailing ships. Lord Nelson
'I think people who are physically disabled get a tremendous sense of achievement from coming aboard this ship. Here they're accepted because of their ability as opposed to their disability.'
The 400-ton barque the Lord Nelson is unique: she has been designed and built so that the physically-handicapped can share the challenge of crewing and sailing a square-rigged vessel. This programme follows the building of the ship - from her keel-laying to a proving voyage in the Solent - examining her extraordinary design, and showing how it works in practice.

Jean has been trapped in her home for 13 years. Her life is dominated by bizarre rituals; she washes her hands 50 times a day and is compelled to check constantly the position of every item of her furniture. Jean's husband Ian and her children Tamara and Toby have no choice but also to live by her tyrannical rules.
Tonight's film follows Jean's voluntary entry into hospital and into a dramatic course of treatment. The question for her, her family and her doctors is can she ever be rescued from her obsession?

The second of a trilogy of films looking at the next Northern Ireland generation - from Paris, from the past and from the Stretford End.

Mrs Grey is a Catholic teacher at a Protestant school and Mr Scott is the French teacher who wants to take her to Paris with him. But Miss Black wants to go and so does the headmaster. Heather, Fiona, Shirley and Tracey have never been to Paris before, nor have Downes, Dobson, Fullerton or McKay; nor Trevor who is 11 and sees everything. And Tracey who is 14 wants to see the Mona Lisa, but the picture is so small and the salon so crowded she can't see anything - so she goes to see the Venus de Milo instead.

With Allison Smyth, Suzanne Adair, Janine Caughey, Janis Spratt, Andrew Snowdon, Alex Davidson, Simon Gregg, Neill Geddes, Conor Stanage, David Graham, Michael Johnston, Eileen Cousins, Stephen Mcnulty and Gerard Mccormick

(The third film in the trilogy, The Rockingham Shoot, tomorrow at 9.50pm)
