A See-Saw programme

from Barnsdale with Geoff Hamilton and Anne Swithinbank
A variety of strawberry new to amateurs is sweeping
Europe. Commercial growers love it for its high yield, good colour and disease resistance. But what about its flavour? With strawberry planting time here, trials show interesting results.
With spring colour in mind, now is the time to start bulb planting. The team advises on a range that is ideally suited for small gardens and investigates the best methods of growing them.

Third Floor starring
Peter Lorre
John McGuire
At a murder trial, testimony by an ambitious newspaperman, added to circumstantial evidence, convicts a young man of murder. Following the execution, the reporter Michael is increasingly convinced of the man's innocence. By a bizarre set of circumstances he too finds himself in the dock. Meanwhile, a homicidal maniac is on the loose.
This rare film is dominated by extraordinary visual effects by RKO cameraman NIC MUSURACA and by the expressionist trial sequence.
