Sharks are passionless killers; and one above all - the great white shark. Early in the spring of 1969, a group of divers, three men and a woman, began a 12,000-mile odyssey, determined to film a great white shark. They combed the Indian Ocean off South Africa, Madagascar, and Ceylon; then extended the hunt to Australia.
Thousands of sharks were sighted and photographed, but the great white eluded them until they reached the waters of Dangerous Reef, off the coast of South Australia. This is the story of that hunt, and of the awesome final encounter between man and the world's deadliest, most cold-blooded predator. Written and produced by PETER GABRIEL

In the late 60s British Rail axed a 20-mile stretch of railway line through the Peak District. Five years ago the overgrown line was forgotten by all but a few dedicated enthusiasts. Nobody can now remember who first suggested rebuilding the railway, but this seemingly impossible dream fired the imagination of a group of local people who are slowly proving to the sceptics that they have both the expertise and the will to see it through. Ex-train drivers, housewives, accountants, company directors, unemployed musicians, Peak Rail are turning out every week to rebuild and run a railway which everyone said was lost for ever.
