Six months ago today Niki Lauda won the World Championship at Estoril. He beat his McLaren team mate Alain Prost by half a point. As the Formula One cars return to this coastal 2.7 mile track, every team will want to break McLaren's stranglehold on the Grand Prix circuits. The first race of the season two weeks ago in Brazil provided a pointer for things to come.
