Two pop stars, one of whom had a hit record earlier this year, and the other who had regular chart-toppers in the early 60s, are among tonight's guests. Shakin' Stevens and Paul Jones span three decades of ' 'pop' music. A few months ago SHAKIN' STEVENiS had a best-seller with a 1950s composition, ' This Ole House ', while PAUL JONES , former lead singer with the Manfred Mann group in the 60s, still manages to combine a successful musical career with acting.

continues the season of Hollywood classics by Howard Hawks, one of America's greatest directors. Starring Cary Grant, Rosalind Russell, Ralph Bellamy

In this lightning-paced, hilarious re-make of The Front Page, Howard Hawks used the brilliant idea of casting ace-reporter Hildy Johnson as a woman. In this version, she is both the newspaper's star reporter and the editor's ex-wife. Cary Grant is at his best as the crafty editor, Walter Burns, determined to stop at nothing in order to prevent Hildy from marrying an insurance salesman and lure her back on the job by sending her to interview a condemned man.
