Bob Hope and Jane Russell are joined by Roy Rogers and Trigger in this classic spoof Western. Born on a Welsh hill farm in the 30s, Trevor Powell spent many of his schooldays working at richer farms and trading in rabbits and poultry. When he was ten, a bad winter almost wiped out their small flock of sheep. His father, always prudent, became even more cautious. Trevor, on the other hand, grew up an easy-going man, ready to take a gamble with anything, seldom resting, seldom out of the saddle, one of nature's cowboys. The film was shot during the week of the spectacular summer round-up, when Trevor and his neighbours ride up from the valleys and bring down their huge flocks from the common ground of the mountain top.
