1941. An RAF bomber 'B for Bertie ' fails to return from a raid on Stuttgart in Germany. Six of the crew manage to bale out over occupied Netherlands and this tense, finely-observed drama follows their hazardous progress to the Channel coast, hunted by the Nazis but aided by the Dutch people.
