The John Player League Somerset v Yorkshire
Last season Viv Richards scored 26 sixes in the John Player League for Somerset, and set up a new league record which will take a lot of beating.
The prize for the fastest 50 went to Jim Love of Yorkshire who took just 41 balls to make it.
With batting of this standard this should be a very high-scoring match indeed.

Can the whales survive the numbers game?
Last year, over 20,000 whales were slaughtered to help provide leather softeners, lubricating oils, cosmetics and crayons. Britain has banned the import of some whale products. But last year we imported 5,000 metric tonnes of sperm whale oil worth two million pounds.
Tomorrow, the International Whaling Commission meet in London. They will decide whether to ban whaling for ten years to allow stocks to recover or to set new catch levels for next season.
This programme shows how man's new concern for the whale conflicts with the commercial values of the whaling industry whose interests are protected by the iwc. Narrated by DEREK JONES
