Television Sheepdog Trials introduced by Phil Drabble and Eric Halsall from Loweswater in the Lake District. The teams competing for the Television Trophy are Scotland, Wales, England and Ireland. This week Scotland's competitors are Peter Hetherington with Nell, Tom Watson with Mirk, David McTeir with Garry

Sam Smith : Genuine England
An introduction to the magical world of a wood-sculptor: vividly painted figures of animals, boats, lion-tamers, bare-bosomed ladies, pantomime characters - many of them curiously articulated like puppets. Around his delightful, sometimes uncanny creations, SAM SMITH weaves adult fantasies mixed with the fond memories of his own childhood.
