Two of the legendary names in show business, Bing Crosby and Sean Connery, captain teams of international celebrities in this new series especially recorded for BBC2.
The USA beat Great Britain in the first tournament at Turnberry Hotel by four matches to three. Last year Great Britain reversed that decision and trounced the USA by eight matches to two. Now they meet again at the Gleneagles Hotel for another ten instalments of golfing warfare.
Johnny Miller and Tony Jacklin, the resident professionals, have achieved golfing immortality by winning both the British and American Open titles. Even so, they relish the fresh challenge of partnering, for the USA:
