4: Fordingbridge to the Sea
The river is broad and the end is in sight. On the last stage of his journey Richard Cusden sports with the holidaymakers at Fordingbridge and gets a touch of the blues in Ringwood.
In Dorset he finds the noblest priory of them all and dips a contemplative finger into the water by Hengistbury Head. Where does it all go to? Why. back to the beginning, of course, for another trip down the river.
