Thriller starring Joanne Woodward, Stuart Whitman

Having spent ten years in an asylum, convicted killer Alex Forrester escapes and takes refuge in the secluded house of unhappily married Molly Thomas, whose husband is away. Before long, the pair become attracted to each other. Forrester claims to be sane and innocent, but suspicions are aroused when another murder comes to light.
