A series of underwater adventures.
The Kelp Forests of California. Beyond the pounding surf off the coast of California lies a submarine forest of breathtaking beauty - and predatory blue sharks. The underwatertrees are a type of fast-growing seaweed known as giant kelp. Martha Holmes and Mike deGruy dive through the glades among the harbour seals, bat rays, colourful fish and sea otters, butjust beyond the kelp the angel shark is lurking and it proves to be no angel. Further out in the deeperwatera dive with blue sharks requires heavy protection.
