Pike, the foreman of the Morgan Ranch, makes a promise to his dying boss to deliver$86,000 safely to Mexico. News travels fast in Abilene and Pike soon finds himself trailed by a group of unsavoury characters all anxious to relieve him of the money. On the trail he meets a smooth-talking gambler, a mute Indian who specialises in Kung Fu, and a beautiful woman.
