Alexis was the only son and heir of the Emperor of Russia, but he was rarely seen in public and much of his life was surrounded by secrecy. One of his tutors, Sidney Gibbes , returned to England with many memories of the Russian Imperial family.
MAGNUS MAGNUSSON visits the house where Sidney Gibbes lived in Oxford and tells the sad story of Alexis, the last heir to the Russian Empire.
