Writer and broadcaster Jonathan Meades returns with a sequel to his series Abroad in Britain in which he explored some of Britain's more unfamiliar architectural settings and the people that live in them. In this series he takes this theme even further, looking at buildings that wouldn't necessarily be classified as "architecture".

As a self-confessed victim of vertigo, he begins with aqueducts, office blocks, cliff-hanging houses, diving boards and cathedrals in an attempt to see how architects and engineers have used height to titillate, thrill and terrify.
