In the British Ice Dance Championships, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean return to amateur competition status for the first time since they scored top marks at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo with their famous routine to Ravel's Bolero.
This evening they compete in the compulsory dances and original dances at Sheffield Arena, and tomorrow afternoon in the free dances .
Marika Humphreys and Justin Lanning will be defending their British Seniors title against Torvill and Dean, both teams hoping for place in the Lillehammer Olympics next month.
