Two programmes about an experiment to find out about the craft of teaching, and whether keeping order in class is a natural or learnt skill.

Three teachers at the same school have allowed cameras to observe their lessons with the same form of lively 14-year-olds over the course of a term. Matthew Longden is fresh from college, Lindsey Bird has been teaching for seven years, Peggy Jordan for 22 years.

The first programme follows the fortunes of Matthew, who is to be the form tutor of the class. He has not been trained for such a role, so he'll have to busk it.

A Child for Hitler
"You can't all expect to marry but you could all make a child for Hitler" ran the Nazi propaganda campaign to encourage racially pure young women to mate.
Renate is one of thousands living in Germany today who are the product of Lebensborn - the Nazi experiment to breed a perfect Aryan. The fathers were all SS officers. She grew up with her mother and grandmother in Cologne, knowing nothing of her strange origins. She longed for her absent father. But her mother hadn't told her the truth.
This film interweaves the story of Lebensborn with Renate's personal quest to discover the terrible truth of her father's identity. Producer Catnne Clay Editor Caroline Pick
