The second of three films which look at new thinking in cosmology, evolution and brain science, as recent scientific developments seem to converge with religious ideas, both old and new.
The Evolving Soul. Since the time of Isaac Newton , we have been led to believe that the world as described by science is as predictable as clockwork. New computer studies of chaotic systems suggest that, simply, this isn't true.
Anthony Clare presents this film in which scientists and theologians talk about this discovery and the profound change it is causing in our understanding of nature. Producer James Burge

Not at Their Age
Five couples, aged 65 to 91, tell their stories of how they met and fell in love in later life.
When older people have relationships it is often met with shock and incredulity, not least by the couples themselves. For many of them, it is like being a teenager again. "I never thought anyone would look at me at 90," says Mary (91) who met Jim (85) in a residential home for elderly people. "People say that old people can't have any love for each other," explains Jim.
"They're very, very wrong." Producer Philippa Lowthorpe Editor Caroline Pick
