A Child for Hitler
"You can't all expect to marry but you could all make a child for Hitler" ran the Nazi propaganda campaign to encourage racially pure young women to mate.
Renate is one of thousands living in Germany today who are the product of Lebensborn - the Nazi experiment to breed a perfect Aryan. The fathers were all SS officers. She grew up with her mother and grandmother in Cologne, knowing nothing of her strange origins. She longed for her absent father. But her mother hadn't told her the truth.
This film interweaves the story of Lebensborn with Renate's personal quest to discover the terrible truth of her father's identity. Producer Catnne Clay Editor Caroline Pick
