This week, the plight of ex-council tenants who've bought homes they cannot sell because of claims that they are defective.
In November, Advice Shop reported on steel-framed houses. Residents on the Bilborough Estate in Nottingham were campaigning for repair grants to bring their homes up to mortgageable standards. Today the programme covers the dilemma of those trapped in Pre-Reinforced Concrete (PRC) houses.
A residents' campaign in Liverpool is trying to get the council to re-purchase their homes.

Vaclav Havel is the most widely known Czech dramatist in the West and the one most suppressed in his own country. Although he has been a non-person in Czechoslovakia for 21 years, his stature there has been growing irresistibly. His role as the founder and spokesman of Charter 77 and his years of imprisonment have made this shy and mild-mannered writer into a symbol of civic courage and independent thought. 'Free Havel!' has been the key note at all the recent demonstrations on the streets of Prague.

Bookmark follows Havel's career, using specially-staged scenes from his plays as well as a unique 'unofficial' interview with the playwright himself, filmed between his two last stints in prison. Shot almost entirely in Czechoslovakia, the film also features an interview with the head censor of Prague's People's Council as well as excerpts from a performance of Havel's recent play Temptation by an underground theatre group in Prague.
