Every four years the oldest of the Scottish clans, the Clan
Gunn, forms an international gathering in its founding town of Wick.
This gathering, held in 1985, was special in that the members - some of whom had travelled from America, Canada and Australia - would, for the first time in 150 years, choose a clan chief.
