David Bintley is one of the most energetic and talented young dancers and choreographers working in Britain today. This programme follows the often exhilarating, and sometimes painful, process of creating one of his latest works, Galanteries. It was commissioned for Expo 86 World Fair in Canada and performed by the Royal Ballet where he is resident choreographer. It documents Bintley's instinctive way of working with his dancers on a ballet described as one of his most joyous creations. In the second showing of this exclusive interview David Hepworth talks to Bruce Springsteen and the E. Street Band, with extracts from 14 previously unseen performances, including Sandy from his English debut performance at the Hammersmith Odeon in 1975.
