BOB ANDERSON, World No 1 from England, is on stage this afternoon to begin his bid to add the most coveted prize to his list of titles, the World Professional
Championship. The man who has the daunting task of stopping him today is a new name to the darts world, a 27-year-old postman from Holland, BERT VLAARDINGERBROEK , the first Dutch player to qualify since the competition began. The other two matches in this totally international session are between RUSSELL
STEWART (Australia) and JOHN DELEY (Belgium), with FRED MCMULLEN (Ireland) playing the No 1 from Finland, TAPANI uitos.
