In this essay on loneliness, first shown in the Forty Minutes series, five characters in search of someone are sitting on a train. The retired man tries to find his happiness in singles' clubs; the young man through computer dating. The unattached mother uses a box number to find the new man in her life. The man sitting opposite her has all but given up hope of finding a partner. The mature lady in the corner is adjusting to her loneliness. She has just become a widow.
All five share a common problem. Yet as the train goes down the line, not a word is spoken. No one communicates.

SIMON TREVOR 's Bloody Ivory
This is the astounding true story, , filmed over five years, of a single game warden's attempt to combat elephant poachers in Tsavo National Park, Kenya.
While David Sheldrick with spotter-plane and armed rangers tries to outwit the master elephant-hunter Galo Galo , his wife Daphne must care for the baby animals orphaned by the poachers; like Push-me the rhino, and Aisha the tiny elephant, who arrives only a few days old.
Savage, poignant, comic and tragic by turns, this is one of the finest documentaries ever to be made about man and big game. It is also a cry from the heart of Africa to save the elephant.
The words of David and Daphne Sheldrick are spoken by IAN HOLM and JUDY PARFITT
