The Hidden Land
There is a hidden Spain to explore if you take to the tracks which wind back from the crowded beaches of the Costa del Sol to the foothills and mountains beyond.
Fish-eating snakes, colourful lizards, honey buzzards and bee-eaters, and the huge and magnificent griffon vulture are there to be found by the naturalist holiday-maker. For those of us who normally head for the beaches and never venture beyond the great coastal barrier of hotels, an alternative, wild Spain is revealed. Narrator KEITH BARRON

(1 1888-1982)
In 1914, Marie Rambert arrived in London from Paris where she had been working with the Diaghilev Ballet. In 1926, the BALLET RAMBERT was born on the tiny stage of the Mercury Theatre.
Out of that Company, over the next 56 years, flowed an apparently inexhaustible stream of talent to enrich ballet companies, not only in Britain, but all over the world.
In this film, made to celebrate the Company's 50th Anniversary in 1976, dame marie introduced past and present members of the Ballet Rambert. The BBC is proud to show it again in tribute to a great creative artist.
