The programme is about people who have got together to make life better for themselves and those around them; it aims to help others to do the same.
Tonight's edition includes film from Leigh Park, Hampshire, where self-help groups of all kinds - from shop stewards to adventure playground campaigners - are coming together to improve facilities on one of the largest council estates in Europe, and from Coventry, where the residents of a street of terraced houses took on the local council - and won.
