Gian Carlo Menotti , composer, impresario, President of the Spoleto Festival, spends a large part of each year at his Scottish retreat-Yester House, one of Scotland's finest stately homes. The rest of the year he spends globetrotting but in July he returns to Spoleto to mastermind the Festival of Two Worlds which he founded 21 years ago.
