Lord Annan's Committee on the Future of Broadcasting has now submitted its controversial report. The suggestions include far-reaching proposals for the allocation of the fourth television channel, and the control of radio and television. Tonight Lord Annan delivers the Ambrose Fleming Lecture to members of the Royal Television Society in London. He takes the opportunity to reply to some of the criticisms that have been made of his report.
