County Championship Semi-final Lancashire v Gloucestershire
Two of the strongest counties in the Championship faced each other yesterday for a place in the final on 26 February.
Lancashire, who last won the title in 1973 against Gloucestershire, have a host of international talent to call on including Tony Neary , Fran Cotton and Billy Beaumont. Gloucestershire, winners of the title for the last three years, will be relying on experienced internationals such as Mike Burton , Peter Butler and Dave Rollitt to take them through to their eighth consecutive final.

The Asmat are known for two things - the remarkable quality of their woodcarvings and the notoriety linked to the death of Michael Rockefeller Jr, anthropologist son of the famous American family. His disappearance on a field trip there remains an unsolved mystery-did he drown or was he killed and subsequently eaten by the Asmat?

The concert ends with Stravinsky's colourful ballet music 'Le chant du rossignol '.
