British to the Finnish
Britain plays host to a considerable number of foreign correspondents. Most major television services keep a reporter permanently based in London. It sounds very flattering. But what are they actually saying about us? If these correspondents constantly send back home reports about our strikes - and economic problems, what sort of impression does that make on a foreign audience? Does it put them off ' buying British' for instance? Tonight we look at the work of one such correspondent, Erkki Toivanen of Finnish TV, and at the impact his reporting has on the Finns.
