' Miss Kenya' is a wild African elephant. She was given that name by a Japanese camera team who came to know her well as they tracked her day by day through the East African bush. They knew she was about to give birth, an event they hoped would be the highlight of their film.
Instead, their story took a stranger turn and they were faced with an unexpected but no less fascinating record of life among the largest land animals on earth.

The Whitefriars are an Order of Carmelite Friars who live in an ancient priory at Aylesford, Kent. They are a lively community, who are visited by thousands of people annually - either on retreat or else for the day, when they attend Mass and often pour out their troubles to the friendly Brothers.
The Whitefriars run a guesthouse, a pottery, a tea-room and a book-shop. Their household chores are done by Spanish Carmelite nuns and they lead a cheerful bachelor life. There are eight novices in the Order, and they have formed their own private pop group.
