We've had television in Britain for 40 years. In South Africa it's only just arrived. This film is about its first impact on South Africa's prosperous entertainment industry -the theatres, the cinemas, the drive-ins, the film rental companies, the satirical revues - the people that are getting hurt, the ones that have already been killed. In particular it deals with the fate of two brave shows that earned their bread by kicking the Republic's most sacred cows.
