This special programme looks back at some 60 years of Paramount films, featuring stars like Maurice Chevalier , The Marx Brothers, Bob Hope , Bing Crosby , W. C. Fields, Mae West, Marlene Dietrich , Frank Sinatra , John Wayne , Barbra Streisand , Marlon Brando. Gloria Swanson and Kirk Douglas , both of whom made memorable films for Paramount, introduce scenes from Sunset Boulevard, Sorry Wrong Number, White Christmas, Lost Wetkend, Trouble in Paradise, Going My Way, Gun-fight at the OK Corral, The Odd Couple, Stalag 17, The Great Gatsby, Alfie, Love Story , Paper Moon, The Godfather (Parts 1 and 2) and many others.
