Introduced by Robert Robinson
Angus Wilson was 33 before he wrote his first story-two years after his psychotherapist had advised him to write as a therapy.
Now at 62 he is the archetypal 20th-century man of letters: Professor of English Literature at the University of East Anglia, and a major novelist, best known for titles such as Hemlock and After, Anglo-Saxon Attitudes, Old Men at the Zoo, and Late Call. For this filmed profile ROBERT ROBINSON talked to ANGUS WILSON at his Suffolk home and at the University.
