David Hutchings
The project organiser of the Upper Avon Navigation Trust looks back over seven days last May which culminated with a ceremony performed by HM The Queen Mother following a journey she made up the restored River Avon to Stratford: the first official boat trip on this section of the river for a hundred years. For David Hutchings the event marked the end of ten fraught years and the realisation of a dream.
