From the League of Champions: Alex 'Hurricane' Higgins, the World Snooker Champion v Jack Rea, the former Irish Champion
As well as winning the World Championship in 1972, Higgins also won the Irish national title for the first time-beating Rea, who had been the undisputed Irish Champion for 20 years.
