Television has become the window on the world for millions. And each national television network sees the world differently from any other. How different these viewpoints are can be examined on Europa, which presents film reports by European TV networks on world events.

What Use Philosophy?
In this, James Mossman's last interview before his death, he questions Stuart Hampshire, Warden of Wadham College, Oxford, on the use and aim of this branch of knowledge.

To Sunset and Beyond
The top prize in the Amateur Movie-Maker Ten Best Competition went this year to an outstanding winner. In this 13-minute film Colin Gregg, a school-teacher from Exeter, has created a haunting tale of a boy lost on Dartmoor. His film also won the award for colour photography.

Greek Folk Music
This year's English Bach Festival will include an ensemble of Greek musicians and dancers performing a programme of authentic Greek music - heroic songs and traditional themes, played on the floghera, santouri, klarino, and Cretan lyra. Tonight they give their first British performance in the Review studio.
