A programme for children at home
Presenters this week, Carole Ward, Gordon Clyde
Today's story: "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" by Beatrix Potter

Horsey, horsey, don't you stop,
Just let your feet go clippity-clop.
There are some pictures and songs about horses in Play School today and Jemima has a new coat to go for a ride on Dapple. On Tuesday everybody is off on a journey-to the country. Gordon and Carole go fishing later in the week and ask you to play a river game with them. The stories in Play School this week are all by Beatrix Potter.

"There's no doubt about it - they were fighters. They used to fight sometimes over a lock, sometimes over a bridge, and sometimes they'd have a fight just to see which was the best man."
"...I was drunk for two days after that, and the only way I got sober was to drink seven pints. It was really a good Christmas that was!"

Defending Champion: Bob Goalby
The highlights of the Final Round introduced by Harry Carpenter

A year ago the universally popular Roberto de Vicenzo of the Argentine dismayed golf enthusiasts throughout the world by signing an incorrectly marked score-card and so forfeited his right to tie for the first place in the 1968 Masters. No rules decision can ever have been harder to enforce, because no tournament commands more respect and no title is more eagerly sought after.

This year's tournament, played as usual over the famed Augusta National Course, was completed yesterday and drew an entry of the world's finest golfers which featured the largest British contingent ever, including Tony Jacklin, Brian Huggett, Peter Butler, Malcolm Gregson, Peter Townsend, Tommy Horton, Michael Bonallack, and Joe Carr.
