Gerald Moore. Hilary Finch continues her look back at the career of the pioneering pianist and accompanist Gerald Moore through some of his many broadcasts for the BBC. She considers whether Moore could have pursued a career as a solo pianist and features recordings of the "unashamed accompanist" with the likes of Nan Merriman , Richard Lewis , Victoria de los Angeles and Elisabeth Schwarzkopf.

John's Book of Alleged Dances (1994) was written for Adams's friends in the Kronos
Quartet (alleged, explains Adams, because the steps have yetto be invented), and Shaker Loops (1978) for string septet was one of his first works to achieve cult status.
