This new film completes the trilogy made over five years. It is three years since Duka left home to marry a man she had never met. Now she has two children and her ambitious husband Sago has aspirations to become rich, which are thwarted by the drought, rising prices, and the never-ending demands of his grasping relatives. Meanwhile Duka's cousin is preparing for his coming of age, a bizarre and startling spectacle in which he must leap over his cattle, while Duka is ritually beaten until her back bleeds. But at the last minute tragedy strikes in the form of a sudden death in the family. The ceremony is in jeopardy, and Sago must find some way to help save the day.
