Joshua [text removed] was born with severe brain damage caused by listeria. He is now blind, and unlikely ever to walk unaided. His parents Bill and Vivien argue that they should have been warned earlier about the danger from listeria in cheeses and cook-chilled foods. Too late for Joshua, a Government Food Hazard Warning was issued a year ago - but many pregnant women are still not getting the advice they need to prevent and treat listeriosis.
Can listeria be eliminated from our food? Are the right measures being taken? This investigation follows up the report in Taking Liberties.
