The way we live now Wedding at Easington
Tom Lee and Dawn Gray invite you to share the happiest day of their lives. Tom is 21 and Dawn's 19.
Both are unemployed - so it won't be a very grand do.
Tom's father Tommy was a coalminer in Easington until last year - he's paying for the wedding with the last of his redundancy money. Tom's mother Dot is roping in family and friends to help. Easington is a small pit village on the Durham coast. It has an active colliery, but with one in six here out of work, it's a village haunted by memories of the past.
Easington's men and women are fearful now for the future of their families and the community.
